1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility
Accessing or using the service means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms and are responsible for ensuring that team members understand the applicable boundaries.
If you lack authority to accept these terms, this type of service is prohibited where you are located, or you plan to conduct unauthorized activity, do not use this site. The service is intended for developers, testers, and business teams capable of making appropriate judgments; it is not directed at children.
2. Service Scope and Positioning
MSGTMP provides short-term test inboxes, plus permanent forwarding aliases managed after sign-in, 30-day archives, and two-step verification. We are not an SMTP sender, an account-recovery vault, or a replacement for an enterprise email archiving system.
External senders, DNS, sending platforms, and network policies can all affect delivery. A page showing “not received” does not necessarily mean MSGTMP is at fault. Assess the flow using sending logs, message IDs, and bounce events.
3. Accounts, Tokens, and Security
Forwarding accounts sign in with an email verification code, and the first verification may automatically create an account. You must control the login email, protect your sessions and temporary inbox tokens, and take responsibility for actions initiated from your devices.
If you discover a leaked token, an unfamiliar alias, or unauthorized access, sign out immediately, delete the relevant alias, and contact support. We recommend enabling two-step verification for long-term forwarding, but it does not replace securing the email account itself.
4. Email Content and Authorization Responsibilities
You retain your lawful rights to your own test content and grant us the limited processing permission necessary to receive, display, forward, filter, and troubleshoot it. This permission exists only to provide the requested functionality and ends when the relevant data is deleted, except for reasonable backup rotation.
You must confirm that you are authorized to trigger emails from target systems to addresses on this site, and should prefer synthetic names, order numbers, and accounts. If real personal data is sent here by mistake, stop sending, delete records you can manage, and notify the relevant data controller.
5. Fair Use and No Evasion
Do not use automation, proxy pools, bulk accounts, or other methods to evade rate limits, quotas, or security controls. Do not probe other users’ tokens, interfere with infrastructure, reverse-engineer abuse detection, or impose loads disproportionate to normal testing.
Reasonable automated testing is allowed, but limit its frequency, stop failed loops promptly, and respect API responses. If activity affects other users, we may slow it down, block requests, or require you to adjust your approach.
6. Quotas, Capacity, and Feature Changes
Different features may be subject to limits on request frequency, mailbox count, attachment size, archive duration, and alias quotas. Quotas shown in the console describe the current account allowance and do not constitute a promise of permanent capacity.
We may adjust limits and features for security, performance, or product improvements, while making reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary interruption of ongoing short-term tests. Significant changes will be explained on the site or through another reasonable channel.
7. Data Retention and Business Continuity
Temporary inboxes and forwarding archives are cleared according to the periods shown on the site. Deleted or expired data may not be recoverable. You must save results genuinely needed for quality processes before the deadline and avoid treating this site as your sole evidence repository.
Maintenance, outages, sender policies, or force majeure may cause delays or make data unavailable. For critical releases, retain application logs, sending-platform events, and reproducible test cases instead of relying only on inbox screenshots.
8. Brand and Intellectual Property
The site’s interface, code, marks, and original documentation are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for ordinary use of the service, these terms grant no permission to copy the brand, impersonate MSGTMP, sell access, or create a misleading mirror.
You may cite your own test results in internal reports and state that you used MSGTMP. Do not imply that we endorse your product, sending content, or security conclusions without written permission.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
An email flow may involve your application, sending provider, DNS provider, mailbox provider, and links within the email. Third parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their systems and are not responsible for their decisions.
Before opening links or downloading attachments in test emails, verify the source and isolate the environment. Displaying an email does not mean that we have reviewed, endorsed, or guaranteed the safety of its links.
10. Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
If we identify abuse, security risks, unlawful requests, persistent overuse, or serious violations of these terms, we may suspend requests, disable aliases, or terminate access. In emergencies, we may take protective action first and explain the reason within a reasonable scope afterward.
You may stop using temporary inboxes, delete aliases, and sign out of forwarding accounts. Termination does not remove responsibilities arising before termination, and provisions concerning security, intellectual property, disclaimers, and disputes continue by their nature.
11. Service Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, satisfy every compliance requirement, or receive every externally sent email.
Test results are only part of the engineering evidence and do not constitute legal, compliance, or security certification. You should design independent validation, backup, and release decisions based on your own risk level.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, data loss, business interruption, third-party claims, or indirect or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not permit all exclusions, so these limitations apply only to the extent allowed by local law.
You are responsible for claims arising from unauthorized activity, unlawful content, infringement of third-party rights, or evasion of security controls. Both parties must take reasonable steps to mitigate known harm and must not intentionally increase its impact.
13. Changes, Severability, and Entire Agreement
We may update these terms because of feature, risk, or legal changes and will show the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be reasonably highlighted. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance; if you disagree, stop using the service.
If any provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. These terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement concerning the site’s services, while mandatory rights under applicable law remain reserved.
